ALC Scholarship Fund -Class of 2020

Academic Leadership Community is an LAUSD Pilot School in the heart of Los Angeles. Most of our students live at or well below the poverty line and have very little family financial support available to them. More than that, almost all of our students are on track to be the first members of their families to attend college. 

We have a stupendous group of Seniors at ALC this year and we want to make sure that they have the financial backing they need to get off to a great start in college. 

This year our students have been accepted to UC Davis, UCLA, UC Santa Cruz, UC Merced, Northern Arizona University, UC Berkeley, Humboldt State University, Cal Poly Pomona, UC Irvine, UC Santa Babara, Cal State Sacramento, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Northridge, Cal State Stanislaus, UC Riverside and many more excellent colleges and universities. 

While many of our students do receive some financial aid, there is almost always a gap between what they need and what they receive.

Additionally, many of the colleges require registration fees and advances for student housing and Summer Bridge programs. This is where the ALC Scholarship is key to their success. 

Please consider donating to the ALC Scholarship Fund and supporting these young people and they aim to better themselves and improve the socioeconomic future of their families. We will be awarding the scholarships on June 12th, so we have just over a month to reach our goal.
