Hi my name is Rebecca I’m fundraising for my son who will be soon having a life saving bone marrow transplant due to a rare genetic disorder called chronic granulomatous disease (CGD)

due to the transplant Albie will miss around 8-10 months of school due to having to isolate as he will have even less immune system than he has now.

He has already missed 30% of his first full year due to hospital stays. I’m fundraising to be able to afford a tutor to come to our house after the transplant to help Albie keep up with all his friends and also as I’m un able to work due to be a 24/7 care giver but my partners wage means we are ineligible for any kind of financial benefits but these wages just about cover our mortgage and bills.
