Albert Barraza AKA Johnny Boy Fund

Hello everyone, I am trying to raise money for the cremation and services for Alberto Valenzuela Barraza otherwise known as “Johnny Boy” or “Johnny.” Albert was a father/grandfather/brother/nephew whom we loved very much. We lost him suddenly and unexpectedly January 19th. As a fitting honor, his siblings and I would like to provide him with a beautiful and dignified service that will celebrate his life.
His daughters have been trying to take care of his affairs, we have come across a diverse group of people that knew my their dad well. In talking to them, we discovered one common theme: every single person we came into contact with, had the same reaction, disbelief and great sadness. This illustrated to us that their dad was loved within his community. This knowledge brings us great joy and peace. We are happy to see so many loved our Dad/Grandfather and recognized that he was a good person, a loving person, and a loyal person.
We received a breakdown of the funeral costs. The surviving children of Albert decided that their dad will be cremated, according to his wishes. Their father had mentioned that he wanted to be cremated and his ashes to be spread on the Superstition Mountains. He said he chose that place because, “Whenever I see Superstition Mountain, I know I am almost home.” Remaining cremation costs will be $2,817.00, minus the costs of the urn and any flowers we may want to use for the service. Therefore, we are looking to raise $5,000 in this GoFundMe request.
