Albert Amolo's Cremation Memorial

Donation protected
My name is Leilani "Lei" the first born Amolo of Albert Sonza Amolo's 12 kids (Leilani, Jon, Lawrence, Alisha, Jessica, Lance, Malia, Adelei, Joshua, Jaime, Rainey, Laney) From what I can recall of my childhood were only pictures of Albert, but reconnected with him at age 23 at my Grandpa's funeral when I was pregnant with my eldest child.  Since then I've established relationships with my siblings from Hawai'i and have kept in touch since none of us were raised by Albert. Jessica stayed in touch with him and his whereabouts, while most of us had random contact with him. Just imagine the time and space of not really knowing your "Dad" and receiving the news that he passed away from a massive heart attack. The paramedics couldn't recesitate him, on November 1st, 2017 he was pronounced dead outside of the church he served daily and was recently baptized at.

From what I have recollected in the past few years of knowing my Father, he was a people pleaser and a poker player. His former roommate said made people smile and networked whereever he went. We all look somewhat like Albert. I never fathomed organizing his funeral, someone I only knew for a few years. To keep a long story short, I wasn't prepared for this but I have it in my heart to show love and forgiveness to the next generation. I want to let people know that no matter who's wronged you, (especially family) people deserve compassion and honor in some shape or form. At the end of the day, he is still my Dad.

Here's a note from my Auntie (his sis) Aida:
It's hard to believe that our brother Albert Amolo just updated his profile picture on October 31st, He obviously wants us to remember he was a Poker Pro. He was good! If he won, he would treat everyone to anything and everything, he loved everyone. He loved making everyone laugh, he was a happy go lucky person. Everyone that knew him everyone would agree.

On all saints day he was on his way to church where he fell and was brought to the hospital where they tried to revive him but he had a massive heart attack, we are still in shock although we were aware that he had congestive heart failure. We know Albert had a lot of friends wherever he went. Everyone had many laughs with Albert, that's just how he was.

At this time we have set up this gofundme page because we want to transport his body from Nevada to California and put his remains at rest with our parents at Holy Cross cemetery in Colma, California.

***We are raising funds to cover all expenses to transport his remains to San Francisco, and hold a memorial service for those who did know him. Hoping this event will unite my siblings, some who have never met eachother or sad to say...him.

We are asking anyone  that knew Albert Amolo and loved him from his second home at Castle Lanes , Side Pocket or if you worked with him to spread the word.  We thank you for your prayers and donations.

Mahalo and God Bless!
