Albemarle/Houston Relief Effort
Donation protected
I'm David Campbell, and a member of the Albemarle community has been directly effected by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. Chris Hancock, a native of Albemarle, and a classmate of Albemarle High School's class of '88, lives in Houston and is in need of our support.
While there are a number of organizations mobilizing to support all the victims of this tragedy, Chris is from our hometown, so I'm asking everyone from Albemarle to contribute to support one of our own in his time of need. Our goal is $2500, and since time is of the essence, we'd like to be able to get this money to Chris by early next week.
All of the money collected will be given directly to Chris, so he can pay for temporary sheltor, food, and other supplies he needs while Houston gets back on its feet.
Let's show Chris that no matter where you go, you're always part of the Albemarle family.
