Hello everyone,

On memorial day, my father and I spent the day hard at work. We just started changing the oil in my mother’s car when my father had tripped over a ladder that was pulled out to reach a couple jack stands. He fell right on his hip. We took him right to the hospital where they did an X-ray and a CT scan before telling him he would need surgery. After sending him to another hospital for another CT scan and X-ray they determined he did not require surgery (luckily). He spent 2 nights at the hospital before he was released.  He is unable to put any weight on his leg for 3 months preventing him from going back to work. I’m doing my best to get my parents the help they need. They’re unable to cover the deductible as well as their monthly bills for the next three months. I’m going to be spending as much time as my family needs down looking after their property while my father recovers. My father lost his business to new federal regulations and all his savings trying to recover it. He only had this job for several months following another injury where he lost his eye after many surgeries to try and recover his sight. My mother and I are doing the best we can to make this whole process less painful. My dad is my greatest role model. He’s taught me so much, given so much. I’m just trying to give back. Anything helps.
