My heart aches for the loss of my family friend Alan Colley, 39 years old. I prayed for his safe return from the Middle East where he served our country, ten years ago I wept as Alan eulogized his brother Stephen who passed far too young, I rejoiced in his found love to Marcela and subsequent two beautiful daughters, as well as, admired Alan's promising law career.
Alan truly was a genius in math and critical reasoning skills. He attended Cornell University and law school at the University of Michigan. Alan was selected as a commander to lead his Army squad. Locally, Alan served the Santa Clarita Valley running City Council and School Bond Campaigns.
Alan Colley leaves behind his wife Marcela, two daughters, mother Cathy, father Ed, sisters Melissa and Carolyn, and brothers James, Matthew and Tim.
Alan's interment will be in Houston Texas where he resided with his wife and children.
I respectively request you donate to the Alan Colley Memorial Fund for burial costs, transportation for the family, unforseen household expenses and comfort to Alan's daughters.
I will personally account for the funds and guarantee they benefit the Colley Family.
