Alana's Trust

Alana Caplin is the most innocent, young, happy-going child anyone could ever meet, filled with energy and positivity. Unfortunately, on the 1st of December her mother Melody Caplin, who suffers from seizures, passed away at the age of 41, four days after her birthday.

Melody is one of the most lovely people I have ever met in my life, never had a bad thought for anyone, and always sought out the best in people. Melody was a loving mother for 4 year old Alana and devoted herself to make Alana's life the best it could be.

We need your help to raise money for Alana's future dreams, hopes and wishes. Any amount of money given is greatly appreciated and will be given to Alana in hopes that she can create a better life for herself.

Melody always had a enthusiastic and forward-looking attitude and to show this, this was one of her favourite quotes :

"As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back."

Update : Melody's cause of death has been confirmed with a post-mortem. Melody unfortunately died of an epileptic seizure. 

Thank you for all the support you have given us so far, it is so overwhelming and appreciated, we never expected to raise this much for Alana. It is fantastic. We are certain Mel would be blown away with the love everyone is showing and giving.
