Hi guys,

At 9:45pm on Thursday 28th September my farther in law passed away peacefully with his wife Lisa by his side after spending a day with all his children and their partners hearing them reminiscing, laughing and even fighting with each other.

Alan was diagnosed with neuroendercrine throat cancer / small cell back on 13th October 2022 he fought like we never seen anyone fight before he underwent chemotherapy and radiation which we later found out was successful in his throat but on the 9th August 2023 Alan was diagnosed as terminal as it had spread to his liver, spine and his bones! Lisa & her children’s lives were turned upside down.

from the original diagnosis untill now as a family we didn’t even get a year we made the most of the time we had- Lisa and Alan finally tied the knot on 21st January 2023, Alan and ben got to watch a cardiff game together! Alan got to spend time with all of his children which was his final wish but cancer took further time away!

we are so overwhelmed by the amount of people who have reached out to offer support so Lisa asked for a go fund me to be opened as the family will be looking to celebrate his memory and create a memorial including a headstone for his wife and children to have a place to visit him

please don’t take life for granted, give your loved ones a hug and remind them how much they mean to you because tomorrow isn’t a garentee.
