Alan Dissin Longterm Recovery
Alan Dissin suffered a massive stroke and large brain bleed on 04/20/19. Currently, he is still in the SICU at Holy Cross Hospital. He has undergone a cerebral angiogram and a partial craniotomy to remove the blood clots and an AVM. He has now received 13 blood transfusions and is on a feeding tube. He is strong on his right side however he has not regained the use of his left side. Our family is staying strong that he will recover and regain the active, busy life style he enjoyed until the stroke however the extensive medical bills and the long road of rehabilitation required will be costly even with insurance.
Alan has dedicated his life providing Securities & Locksmithing for over 45 years including teaching this trade at a local community college. His health insurance will not cover all the costs that are beginning to come in. Alan has been the sole proprietor for his family since his wife, Janyce, was injured on the job in the mid-80's. He is a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
Now, we need to reach out and ask for your support to help our family make sure he is able to recover without crippling debt.
