Ricky's Cancer Treatment Fund

In June 2010, my cousin Ricky was diagnosed with stage 4 color cancer. This was devastating news to our entire family and it began to change everything. As these past four years have gone by, our family has come together in support for my cousin, his wife, and their two children under 5 years old. Ricky and his family's faith and strength has continued to grow as the battle get harder as the days go on. 
Ricky is only 34 years old, and he has this amazing attitude and love for life. He is so positive and determined to win! There isn't a day that goes by that he isn't standing up fighting not only for himself, but so he can watch his children grow up. Te cancer has spread now from his liver to his lung. Ricky, his wife, his sister, and his mother-in-law are in Spain for the next two weeks for a cancer treatment center that we are hoping will helpchange things for the better. This was a very hard and big decision for them to make. Unfortunately, insurance won't help cover any of the medical bills or funds that are going into this trip, and they also will not cover his UCLA doctor visits when he returns. With the support from family and friends, we are hopeful and faithful that this new path is where he ismeant to be and will bring the results we are hoping for.
