Olá, eu sou o Gastão, tenho 3 anos, e fui adoptado de um abrigo depois de ter sido resgatado de uma situação de negligência.

Recentemente tive uma infeção na traqueia e brônquios que me deixou muito mal disposto e levou-me a um comportamento de começar a comer tudo lá por casa. Comi um bocado de almofada, uma manta, um peluche, um pedaço de chinelo, tudo enquanto a minha mãe dormia.

Como resultado deixei de comer, vomitei muito e a minha mãe levou-me ao hospital. Descobriram que tinha uma úlcera e o estômago muito distendido, e claro todos os disparates que comi. Fiquei internado e ao fim de 5 dias sem evolução acabei por ser operado para me retirarem o conteúdo do estômago.

A operação correu bem, mas eu continuo sem querer comer e por isso tenho de continuar a ir ao hospital todos os dias para fazer a medicação injectável. Preciso da vossa ajuda porque as despesas já vão em mais de 1800€ (internamento, cirurgias e medicação) e ainda não acabaram. A minha mãe quer dar-me todo o apoio que eu preciso mas não sabe até quando vai conseguir fazê-lo sozinha.

Quero muito voltar a ser o cãozinho feliz e simpático que era, brincar com os meus amigos no parque e dar muitos mimos às pessoas de quem gosto. Agradeço a vossa ajuda.

Hello, I am Gastão, I'm 3 years old, and I was adopted from a shelter after being rescued from a situation of neglect.

I recently had an infection in the trachea and bronchi that made me very unwell and led me to start eating everything at home. I ate a piece of a cushion, a blanket, a plushie, a piece of slipper, all while my mother slept.

As a result, I stopped eating, threw up a lot, and my mother took me to the hospital. They found out that I had an ulcer and my stomach was very distended, and of course all the nonsense I ate. I was hospitalized and after 5 days without evolution I ended up having surgery to remove the stomach contents.

The operation went well, but I still don't want to eat, so I have to got to the hospital every day to have injection medication. I need your help because the expenses are already over € 1800 (hospitalization, surgery, and medication) and are not over yet. My mom wants to give me all the support I need but she doesn't know how long she'll be able to do it on her own.

I really want to go back to being the happy and friendly puppy that I was, playing with my friends in the park and giving a lot of cuddles to the people I care about. I appreciate your help.
