A.J.'s Surgery and Recovery

I am not good at asking for help. My closest friends and family all know that. However, I find myself in a time of my life, that I have no way to recover on my own. I am here to reach out and ask for help.
On November 22nd, I was in a car accident. My car was totaled, and I broke my ring finger on my left hand. It is a spiral fracture and the doctors were even somewhat impressed. They thanked me for giving them a story to talk about over Thanksgiving! Haha!
Due to the nature of the break, it requires surgery. Without it, I will not be able to use my finger properly again. I do not have health insurance, so I am considered an out of pocket patient. Because of this, I must provide $4200 upfront. Then there are the costs of the anesthesia, the doctor's fees, precriptions, and all the missing time at work, etc...
PIP from my car insurance covers 80% of the costs, but only up to $10,000. Things are slowly adding up, and as I said, in order to get the procedure done I need the $4200 at the time of check in. I don't have that kind of money. I've been living by the skin of my teeth for quite a while. I tried switching careers, but that didnt work out as everything started changing in the company I worked for, and I was no longer able to support myself. I keep trying to change, adapt, and grow, but it never seems to work as planned. It feels like one step forward, two steps back.
After discussing the full price of the procedure, it is supposed to be about $7000. This is what I am asking for. The sooner I can get the money, the sooner and easier it will be to get my finger back to working condition.
Again, I know that the car insurance is taking up a good portion, but all of the other costs are piling up. If there is any funds left over after the car insurance covers it's portion, the rest will go towards a new vehicle.
As I said, I am not known to be good at asking for help when I need it, but I am at a place that I find myself at the mercy and kindess of all of you.
