Ortiz Family - Hurricane Maria Fund

I have had a lot of friends ask how my family in Puerto Rico is doing and if there is anything they can do to help.  I am creating this page for anyone who is interested in making a donation which will go into the hands of a family in need, versus an organization where your funds may not be put their best use.  Our family is from Corozal, a small area in Puerto Rico that has not received any attention.  As the days pass the crisis in Puerto Rico is getting worst.  Through limited communication we have learned that the supply our family has stored is slowly depleting.  There is no electricity or running water.  My aunt has lost her house (pictured here) and they are working together as a family to survive.  Our aunts, uncles, cousins and 93-year-old grandmother need our support more now than ever to help rebuild and survive the aftermath of Maria.  They have requested canned food items and battery-operated fans.  Unfortunately, we are not able to ship anything to them as they are not able to receive packages at this time.  No donation is too small and we greatly appreciate anything you can offer.  If anything, please keep them and all of the families in Puerto Rico in your prayers.
