Nel maggio 2021 abbiamo avuto la conferma che quei forti dolori, accompagnati dall’improvviso dimagrimento, erano causati da un adenocarcinoma metastatico del colon retto. È stato subito applicato il protocollo oncologico previsto per il suo tipo di malattia. Purtroppo i 10 cicli di chemioterapia effettuati non hanno portato al risultato sperato.
Ma noi non vogliamo arrenderci, e abbiamo trovato una possibilità di cura nell’equipe del dott. Philip Salem, presso il Salem Oncology Center di Houston.

In May 2021, we received confirmation that the severe pain, accompanied by sudden weight loss, was caused by a metastatic adenocarcinoma of the rectum. The oncological protocol provided for this type of disease was immediately applied. Unfortunately, the 10 cycles of chemotherapy carried out did not lead to the desired result.
But we do not want to give up, and we have found a possibility of cure in the team of Dr. Philip Salem, at the Salem Oncology Center in Houston.
The treatments are very expensive, which is why we ask for your help in sourcing the amount necessary to cover American healthcare costs.
