Help Mugisha Give a Voice to the Voiceless

Mugisha was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but his family fled to Uganda when he was little due to the war and settled in a small village in Kasambya Mubende District. He’s currently studying for a diploma in journalism and mass communication at YMCA Comprehensive Institute in Kampala. He would like to continue his studies to obtain a degree but his sponsor is unable to continue paying for his tuition. Please help him make a difference in Uganda.
This is his vision:
“In an effort to give a voice to the voiceless, I started training to be an investigative reporter. I'm a young, concerned and very pro-active journalism student. I embarked on a journey to train to be the very best journalist and reporter to serve rural communities. Inspired by my upbringing where I suffered hunger, war, walking long distances to school and poor treatment and abuse by others, I dedicated my time and efforts to report on the needs of the citizens in communities to help them find ways to overcome the afflictions and suffering that I have faced. In a world where millions of voices are rarely heard, it is extremely heart-warming to know that there are those who wish to help carry the voices of the many to be amplified and accelerated.
The African Continent is rich in resources, however many of the local communities are impoverished due to systematic corruption and the failure to distribute money fairly. For example, the lives of many have been compromised by the greed of the few at the top, whose unethical business practices cause inequality in the systems. The people in every community deserve to have their voices heard as well as understand stories of solutions; it is clearly essential to provide access to stories of solutions to and from voiceless communities."
