Aiuta il Caffè Arabo ed il Ristorante "Amir"

Nella primavera del 1991 viene inaugurato il Caffè Arabo a Napoli nella bella Piazza Bellini appena pedonalizzata, in un'epoca dove non esistevano ancora "locali etnici" in Italia. Il progetto nasceva con l'intento di aprire una finestra verso il mondo della cultura araba.

Fin dal primo momento è stato amore a prima vista con la città intera!

Nel 1996 abbiamo sentito la necessità e l'urgenza (per le tante richieste dei nostri clienti) di allargare la nostra attività nel campo della gastronomia, inaugurando il ristorante arabo inizialmente in Via Sedile di Porto  trasferendoci poi nel 2006 in Via Santa Chiara 25 con "AMIR".

I nostri luoghi (di lavoro e non solo) sono sempre stati frequentati da giovani studenti, artisti ed amanti della cultura e gastronomia arabo-mediterranea.
Infatti il Caffè Arabo ed il Ristorante Amir sono luoghi dove si svolgono rassegne di cinema, incontri con autori e scrittori, presentazioni di libri e performance teatrali. In particolare lo spazio del Caffè Arabo ha visto lo svolgersi della rassegna " ContAminazione" nell'arco dell'intero periodo estivo dal 2011 al 2015 con la partecipazione di decine e decine di singoli e gruppi di artisti provenienti dall'area mediterranea.

Con l'avvento della pandemia "COVID-19" siamo praticamente fermi dal Marzo 2020 facendoci carico, per quant'è possibile, delle ingenti spese di gestione, che con le nostre attività chiuse, in modo particolare per il ristorante Amir il quale non presenta spazi esterni, rappresentano un'uscita di cui non riusciamo più a farci carico.

Siamo certi che con il vostro sostegno riusciremo a far sì che il caffè ed il ristorante arabo siano ancora un punto importante di riferimento nazionale e locale di cultura e gastronomia.

Quest'anno avremmo dovuto organizzare una grande festa per il 30° compleanno del Caffè Arabo, che vorremmo recuperare se e non appena le condizioni lo permetteranno. In quella circostanza come gratitudine per voi SOSTENITORI, saremo felici di accogliervi come nostri graditi ospiti.

In the spring of 1991 the Arab Café was inaugurated in Naples in the beautiful Piazza Bellini, which was barely pedestrianized, in an era where there were still no "ethnic restaurants" in Italy. The project was born with the intention of opening a window to the Arab culture world. 

From the very first time it was love with the whole city of Naples!

So in 1996 we felt the need and urgency (due to the many requests from our customers) to expand our business in the field of gastronomy, inaugurating the Arab Restaurant initially in Via Sedile di Porto and then in 2006 moving to Via Santa Chiara 25 with "AMIR ". Our places (work and not only) have always been frequented by young students, artists and lovers of Arab-Mediterranean culture and gastronomy. In fact, the Arab Cafe and the Amir Restaurant are places where film reviews, meetings with authors and writers, book presentations and theatrical performances take place. In particular, the Arab Coffee space has gone ahead the "ContAminazione" project over the entire summer period from 2011 to 2015 with the participation of dozens and dozens of artists, individuals and groups, from the Mediterranean area.

With the advent of the "COVID-19" pandemic we have practically stopped since March 2020, taking on, as far as possible, the huge management costs. Unfortunately, with our activities closed, especially the Amir Restaurant which doesn’t have outdoor spaces, they represent a huge outflow that we can’t long sustain. 

 We are confident that with your support we’ll be able to ensure that the Arab cafe and restaurant are still an important national and local reference point for culture and gastronomy. 

This year we were supposed to organize a big party for the 30th birthday of the Arab Coffee, which we would like to recover it as soon as conditions allow it. During this occasion, as a gratitude for your SUPPORT, we will be happy to welcome you as our welcome guests.
