Ci presentiamo: l'asd ACCSO non è solo un'associazione sportiva dilettantistica ma una realtà dedita da sempre a promuovere gli aspetti educativi e formativi che lo sport, ed in particolare le arti marziali, possono dare.
Da professionisti nell'insegnamento da decenni siamo attivi nel promuovere progetti dalla forte valenza sociale ed educativa quali:
- difesa donna
- progetti nelle scuole di anti - bullismo
- pet therapy
- arti marziali e ADHD
oltre a progetti rivolti allo sport quale leva e strumento di inclusione sociale che fanno sì che la nostra realtà sia caratterizzata da una forte impronta sociale, scelta che ci ha portato negli anni ha seguire con sempre più attenzione le problematiche che troppo spesso i bambini ed i ragazzi vivono.
La pandemia da Covid 19 ha certamente acuito tante piccole fragilità e problematiche che i bambini hanno o si trovano ad affrontare.
La nostra conoscenza ed esperienza quarantennale nell'educazione e nella formazione, oltre al nostro impegno verso i più piccoli e fragili ci ha portato ad utilizzare negli anni metodi di lavoro innovativi e sempre più dedicati e volti a scavare oltre la superficie.
In questo lavoro di "cura" abbiamo ritenuto di introdurre il supporto di animali, in particolare di cani che con la sola loro presenza durante situazioni percepite come stressanti (ed in questo momento a volte anche il solo trovarsi in palestra o a scuola con regole fissate dal distanziamento o dall'uso della mascherina può diventare fonte di stress o ansia per i più sensibili) riducono i livelli di ansia, la pressione sanguigna e il battito cardiaco.
Valutazione che ci ha portato a sviluppare e promuovere attività educative e ricreative in cui i nostri Aiko e Gea (due attenti e vivaci pastori australiani), da grandissimi amanti dei bambini, hanno un ruolo fondamentale in quanto hanno quella capacità tale da rappresentare un ponte al fine di favorire le relazioni sociali umane, con notevoli implicazioni pratiche non solo nei percorsi di cura ma anche in ambiti educativi. La presenza di un animale agisce infatti come un “rompighiaccio”, offre argomenti di conversazione e, in ultima analisi, stimola la comunicazione e le relazioni sociali.
I nostri giovani Aiko e Gea hanno da subito mostrato la loro efficacia nel contrastare alcuni problemi comportamentali quali, ad esempio, ansia e stress (effetti indesiderati anche nei bambini di questo lockdown e situazione di isolamento sociale), nonchè episodi di aggressività.
Questa pandemia ci ha purtroppo tolto diverse risorse e soprattutto lo spazio dove potevamo svolgere le nostre attività educative e ricreative ma di certo non ci ha tolto l'entusiasmo e la volontà di perseguire questo importante progetto così che possa raggiungere sempre più bambini. La nostra raccolta fondi nasce proprio dalla consapevolezza che i nostri minori hanno sempre più bisogno di progetti a loro dedicati e di attenzioni particolari.
Le risorse raccolte saranno finalizzate quindi ha consentire l'acquisto di attrezzature per lo sviluppo di attività tra bambini e cani e di un mezzo per poter supportare i nostri Aiko e Gea al fine che possano aiutare sempre più bambini ed essere loro a raggiungerli in ogni circostanza e luogo.
Aiko e Gea ve ne saranno molto grati e non mancheranno di farvelo sapere.
I nostri progetti
Let us introduce ourselves: the asd ACCSO is not only an amateur sports association but a reality that has always been dedicated to promoting the educational and training aspects that sport, and in particular martial arts, can give.
As teaching professionals for decades we have been active in promoting projects with a strong social and educational value such as:
- woman defense
- projects in anti - bullying schools
- pet therapy
- martial arts and ADHD
in addition to projects aimed at sport as a lever and instrument of social inclusion that ensure that our reality is characterized by a strong social imprint, a choice that has led us over the years to follow with more and more attention the problems that too often children and guys live.
The Covid 19 pandemic has certainly exacerbated many small fragilities and problems that children have or are facing.
Our forty years of knowledge and experience in education and training, in addition to our commitment to the smallest and most fragile, has led us over the years to use innovative and increasingly dedicated working methods aimed at digging beyond the surface.
In this work of "care" we have decided to introduce the support of animals, in particular of dogs that with their mere presence during situations perceived as stressful (and at this time sometimes even just being in the gym or school with rules set by the distancing or using the mask can become a source of stress or anxiety for the most sensitive) reduce anxiety levels, blood pressure and heart rate.
Evaluation that led us to develop and promote educational and recreational activities in which our Aiko and Gea (two attentive and lively Australian shepherds), as great lovers of children, have a fundamental role as they have the ability to represent a bridge to the aim to foster human social relations, with notable practical implications not only in the care pathways but also in educational fields. Indeed, the presence of an animal acts as an "ice pick", offers topics for conversation and, ultimately, stimulates communication and social relations.
Our young people Aiko and Gea immediately showed their effectiveness in countering some behavioral problems such as, for example, anxiety and stress (unwanted effects even in children of this lockdown and situation of social isolation), as well as episodes of aggression.
This pandemic has unfortunately taken away various resources and above all the space where we could carry out our educational and recreational activities but it certainly has not taken away the enthusiasm and the will to pursue this important project so that it can reach more and more children. Our fundraising was born from the awareness that our minors are increasingly in need of projects dedicated to them and special attention.
The resources collected will therefore be aimed at allowing the purchase of equipment for the development of activities between children and dogs and a means to support our Aiko and Gea in order to help more and more children and be them to reach them in all circumstances and place.
