Aider Pier-Luc et sa famille

Bonjour, je m'appelle Isabelle et je ramasse des fonds pour soutenir mon conjoint et notre petite famille.

Le 29 mars en après-midi, Pier-Luc a été admis d'urgence à l'hôpital Saint-François-d'Assise. On croyait initialement à une phlébite, mais en peu de temps le diagnostique a changer drastiquement.

Pier-Luc a contracté une bactérie mangeuse de chaire. Sa cuisse droite étant le membre affectée par la bactérie. Il a été rapidement pris en charge par l'équipe médicale et ils ont effectué une chirurgie pour retirer la partie du muscle et la peau qui était atteint.

Il est maintenant stable et hors de danger, mais les prochains mois seront difficiles. Il subira une greffe de peau et la réadaptation ne sera pas de courte durée. Les médecins parlent de plusieurs mois avant de pouvoir penser à travailler.

Pier-Luc étant travailleur autonome et n'ayant pas d'assurance, nous nous retrouvons avec un seul salaire et deux bras en moins à la maison. Les factures vont continuer à entrer. Nous avons deux petits garçons et je ne veux pas qu'ils en soient affectés, du moins sur le plan financier.

Ç'est donc pour cette raison que je demande de l'aide aujourd'hui. L'argent servira à payer les frais relatif à l'hospitalisation et à la réadaptation de Pier-Luc, les factures courrantes tels que l'épicerie, l'électricité, etc.

Toute aide seras grandement appréciée.

Hi, I'm Isabelle and I'm asking for help for my spouse and our little family.

In the afternoon of the 29th of march, my spouse was admitted in Saint-François d'Assise's hospital in Quebec. We initially believed in a phlebitis but in a matter of time our world was turned upside down.

Pier-Luc has contracted the flesh-eating bacteria. His right thigh was the limb impacted. Thanks to the doctors, he was taken care of immediately and already got he first surgery to removed the necrosed skin and muscles.

He is now stable and safe but the next year will be tough. He'll receive skins graft and the readaptation will be long. Medical team talks about many months before even thinking about going to work.

Pier-Luc is self-employed and not cover by assurances, we end up on one salary and two helping hands in less. Pier-Luc is the main bread winner of the house. Most of our income comes from him. Unfortunately the bills won't stop. And with two kids under 5 we have to put our pride aside and reach for you. I don't want them to be affected, at least not financially.

This is the reason of this Gofoundme. Every dollars will be spend on bills. Grocery, rent, utility. And off course on the recovery of my spouse and his readaptation. We don't know yet how many surgery and therapy he'll need.

We are lucky. Around us we have a few friends and some family members who will help us physically in our day to day life. The physical part is covered and our "village" is thight. There's one burden left and it's the worst: Money.

We know that not everybody can donate in this economy and thank you for even taking the time to read me. But if you can share. It will mean a lot to us!
