On behalf of Aidan Greene’s family, we invite you to offer support as they navigate an unimaginable tragedy. Although nothing will help numb the pain of this tragic loss, we ask you to please donate to help the family cover the cost of medical bills, funeral services, and other expenses that they will incur.

On January 22, 2023, Aidan Greene suffered a severe asthma attack in his home. Aidan went into respiratory arrest and had to be placed on life support. Aidan’s family had great faith and prayed for a miraculous recovery, however, after a week on life support, it was determined there was no brain activity. On February 1st, 2023, the family had to make the devastating decision to place Aidan to rest.

Aidan Greene was an 18 year old senior at Susan E. Wagner High School who would have been graduating in June 2023. Aidan was described as a social butterfly who loved school. As a member of the Alternate Assessment Vocational Program, Aidan participated in various work-study programs including Project Hospitality, where he helped donate food for the homeless. He also worked the cash register at the school store, and was always there to greet others with a smile. Aidan was known throughout the school community for his friendliness, sense of humor, and ability to brighten up everyone’s day. Aidan was passionate about cars, technology, art, and theater. He was influential in starting a theater program for the special needs students at Wagner High School. Aidan was involved in numerous after school clubs and activities. He took great pride in being chosen as a star student to have lunch with the principal.

Aidan Greene had a positive impact on the lives of each student and staff member that he came into contact with. He will always be remembered for dancing the night away at the school Gala in his favorite fedora, doing the moonwalk with all of his friends. The family is thankful for the outpouring of love and prayers, and are extremely grateful for any support you may be able to provide.
