Aid Little Millie's Recovery

Millie is the daughter of our closest friends.
She is 9 years old.
Millie was 7 when she was diagnosed with intractable epilepsy. Since then her young life was transformed. Her parents went from hospital to hospital, seeking specialists and exploring every possible treatment but nothing helped. In fact the seizures became more and more frequent, as many as 20 a day. The various medicine combinations did nothing to change this and things just got worse and worse . To the point Millie couldn't attend school regularly anymore and needed constant care.
End of June 2018 the family traveled to the U.S.A to explore medical options unavailable in their home country of Israel.
A month later or so, in early July, Millie complained about a strong headache and passed out. She was rushed to hospital in Miami Florida by helicopter, after suffering a nearly fatal brain hemorrhage. She along with her parents and 3 siblings were supposed to return to their home in Israel just two days later, but they all stayed behind to care for her, missing the beginning of the school year, kindergarten and also work.
The family is facing substantial medical bills. And MIllie's road to recovery will be long, hard and also expensive. It will not be possible for both parents to return to work and they are already in substantial debt with medical bills piling up with no end in sight. We, their family and friends have all given all that we can and are committed to aid them in every way possible for as long as it takes.
There is a saying in Hebrew from the Talmud:
"To save one soul is to save a world and all that is in it."
It is difficult for the family to ask the public for help. They are charitable people and are used to being on the giving side. But circumstances are such that they can use all the help they can get to nurse their sweet poor child back to health.
