Aid from Wrocław, Poland to Ukrainian refugees

We wanted to help people fleeing war in Ukraine in a concrete way, but we weren't sure which charities would get cash and aid to those who needed it most, and quickly. Then we found out that our friends at Radio Wrocław and Radio RAM had sprung into action. They began organising convoys of vehicles to take much-needed clothes, batteries, medicine and much more across Poland to refugees at the Ukrainian border. And in the now-empty vehicles, started bringing people back to safety across the country.

 

 

 

Poland has already welcomed nearly 2 million Ukrainians in just a few weeks and will undoubtedly take in many more.

 

We want to help out somehow, but it's neither practical nor effective to send stuff out from the UK. We can't give direct to the radio stations, but they are working closely with a fantastic Wrocław charity called Fundacja Ukraina , who are organising collections and convoys to get the right stuff to the right people, and the people back to where they are safe.

So the most direct way we can help is to give cash direct to Fundacja Ukraina, so they in turn can organise more convoys filled with the things they know are most needed. As this charity is not registered on gofundme, I will donate all money raised direct to them.
