My name is Racquel Rodney and I never thought I would ever do a GoFundMe. Recently, Hurricane Melissa has hit Jamaica and the devastation is inconceivable. It is heartbreaking to see the country where I was born and especially the Parish of St. Elizabeth where I grew up so severely impacted with flooding and utter destruction, prompting me to take action to assist in any way I can.

Families have been completely displaced and do not have some of the basic supplies needed to survive. The cleanup and rebuilding process will take a while, and I am asking for contributions to aid in this process. Aid received will assist families in getting supplies such as food , clothing, and basic essentials as well as helping to rebuild homes.
