Ai Can Help was created in response to the coronavirus crisis by a diverse group of talented professionals stranded at home and wanting to do something to help save lives. Our core group is united by two passions: the desire to make a difference, and our shared experience as Aikido students. Our Aikido training teaches us to find peaceful solutions in the face of conflict by remaining centered, calm, and connected. Ai Can Help is a nonprofit organization that donates PPE to the people who need it the most. All of our members are volunteering their time and energy and none of us takes a paycheck. We are making every effort to source supplies at the lowest cost without compromising quality. We have friends and family members who are out there fighting to save lives and keep our communities going. We are pooling our resources to get front line workers and other vulnerable people the equipment they need at no cost to them.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
Every dollar we raise goes directly to manufacturing and shipping PPE to the people that need it. We supply to doctors, nurses, hospital staff, geriatric care workers, delivery people, airline personnel, and anyone on the front lines of the coronavirus anywhere in the world who needs protection. We therefore depend heavily on large donations from investors and corporations to effectively cover our costs without limiting our production and distribution. Every dollar, every social media share, and every new connection makes a difference, so we hope that you will join us in our fight however you can. We have orders pouring in from front line workers all over the country. We are ready to do everything we can, and we need your help to get the masks into the hands of people who desperately need them.
HOW WE MANUFACTURE PPE
We started off 3D printing and hand assembling at a rate of 30-40 pieces a day. We received so many requests for thousands of face masks and other PPE that we realized we had to think bigger. We decided we needed form a non-profit and move into mass production as urgently as possible. We have a team on the ground in China that we have partnered with for over 10 years. They source and select factories that are making FDA and CE approved PPE. We are also creating molds for our face shields and other PPE. At the same time, we are working to support the 3D printing community by providing the plastic sheets required to make protective visors for the thousands of face shield structures being printed every day.
Providing these products for free gets protective equipment to the people who need it as fast as possible, by removing financial barriers and cutting through red tape.
We are ready to do everything we can, and we need your help to be able to keep up with the overwhelming demand for supplies.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We are receiving requests from front line workers all over the world for PPE in quantities of 10,000 to a million pieces at a time. We would love to deliver to everyone that requests protection without delay. Any donations of any amount are very welcome, much needed and truly appreciated.
With just $1, Ai Can Help can produce a face shield and get it to a doctor, nurse, firefighter, police officer, grocery store clerk, or anyone that is helping to us keep safe. Imagine what a million dollars can do.
This month our goal is to produce and distribute 80,000+ shields and other PPE! To accomplish this, we need at least $80,000. The more money we raise the more product we'll be able to get out there.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
1. We source certified PPE and create our own tooling to make custom face shields and other products.
2. Our face shield mold can make 4,000 pieces a day and we are ready to create duplicate molds as soon as we raise the money.
3. We have an existing team in China that we have worked with for more than 10 years. They identify and audit factories to ensure that their production quality is state of the art. Then they take the products to 3rd party laboratories to ensure authentic certification.
4. Our partners in China are NOT making any money from this. They are making everything at cost because they believe in our mission.
5. We are NOT taking a pay check or inflating the costs of the product, and we're not earning anything on the products we distribute. All the money we raise goes toward manufacturing and distributing PPE to the people that need it.
6. We are united by our background as students of Aikido with a desire to MAKE A DIFFERENCE. We are highly qualified professionals. Our team includes designers, attorneys, business people, engineers, and healthcare professionals.
7. Our priority is urgency. We will do whatever it takes to get the products to those who request them as soon as possible. We cut through red tape and bureaucracy while providing quality materials.
