Bali 2014 - Healthcare Education Project

Hey family and friends!
As most of you know, I'll be venturing out to Bali at the beginning of August to volunteer for 3 weeks in the city of Ubud. I am volunteering with the organization International Volunteer HQ and I'll be taking part in their healthcare education project. Essentially, I will be traveling throughout the Ubud area teaching children the importance of basic hygiene and general health. While daily activities such as brushing your teeth and washing your hands may seem like second nature to many of you living in first world, highly developed countries, these daily routines are not common practice with these children. While my time in Bali will undoubtedly be put to good use, I feel compelled to do more in an attempt to better the future of Bali for the next generation.
That is where you all come into play! All of the money raised will go directly towards purchasing dental and school supplies, and the remainder will be given to IVHQ's partner organization in Bali - Green Lion. I will not keep one penny. This program is not about me, it is about these children.
Any donation will undoubtedly be met with my deepest appreciation.
