Ahmed & his family Journey to Restore Hope

Hello,

I'm Ahmed from Gaza, married with a six-month-old daughter. I'm a computer engineer and a remote UX/UI designer, working either individually or with my specialized team in the small office we've established. I have provided various services to clients worldwide. However, since the war on Gaza began on October 7th, my family and I were forced to leave our apartment, which also housed my personal office equipped with internet access and alternative power sources for the continuous electricity outages in the area.

Since the early hours, my family, consisting of four members – my parents, who suffer from multiple diseases including thyroid cancer, Crohn's disease, and Addison's disease, my brother, and his wife – have been displaced and homeless, moving from one place to another five times until we reached Rafah. There, we received news of the bombing of my family's house, my apartment, my office, my brother's apartment, and his supermarket. We are now all homeless and without any essential means of life, stability, and warmth for our families. With your support, we aspire to restore hope through a clear plan, which I will share with you.

Action Plan:

Phase 1 (Current):

We will work on providing a simple shelter for each family, enduring the harsh conditions of extreme heat during the day and intense cold at night in makeshift tents made of wood and nylon. Living in these tents, we face unimaginable conditions such as pollution and poor water quality. There is nothing for cooking or heating water except plastic and some waste after the wood runs out. These dire conditions are taking a toll on healthy individuals before the sick.

We will also provide electricity using solar energy (all electricity sources were brutally destroyed and will take years to restore). Here, I will start over, trying to rebuild my client network and search for new clients. This will be a significant boost for my family, enabling me to fulfill some basic needs through my work, God willing.

Subsequent stages involve providing better living conditions and supporting us to partially return to what we were.

Where will your support go?

- $5000: Setting up three shelters, each consisting of a room, bathroom, and small kitchen.

- $1550: Purchasing basic necessities (mattresses, blankets, etc.) for three families, totaling ten individuals.

- $1450: Initial payment for a solar power system that will cover our basic needs.

With your support, we will work hard to provide the simplest necessities that will help us continue living without losing any of our sick or young family members. No matter how small your contribution is, it helps us rebuild hope.

أنا أحمد من عزة متزوج وأب لطفلة تبلغ من العمر ست شهور، مهندس حاسوب ومصمم تجربة المستخدم UX/UI عن بعد مع العديد من الزبائن والشركات المختلفة اما بشكل فردي أو مع فريقي المختص بمكتب صغير انشأناه، كنت أقدم وفريقي العديد من الخدمات للعملاء حول العالم. حتى بدأت الحرب على غزة فمنذ السابع من أكتوبر اضطررنا أنا وعائلتي لمغادرة شقتي التي كانت تأوينا وتضم مكتب عملي الشخصي المزودة بالانترنت ومصادر الكهرباء البديلة لحالات انقطاع الكهرباء التي نعاني منها بشكل مستمر في القطاع.

منذ الساعات الأولى طال الأذى والضرر منزل عائلتي المكون من ٤ أفراد والدي و والدتي (التي تعاني من أمراض متعددة وأخطرها سرطان الغدة الدرقية ومرض كرونز وكذلك أديسون) وأخي وزوجته.أصبحنا نازحين وبلا مأوى نبحث عن الأمان من بيت لآخر خمسة مرات حتى وصلنا إلى رفح وهناك تلقينا خبر قصف بيت أهلي وشقتي ومكتبي وشقة أخي والسوبر ماركت الخاص به كلنا أصبحنا بلا مأوى وكذلك بلا أي مقوم من مقومات الحياة والإستقرار والدفء لعائلاتنا. بدعمكم وبمساندتكم نطمح لإعادة الأمل من خلال خطة واضحة سأطلعكم عليها

خطة العمل:

المرحلة الأولى (الحالية):

سنقوم بالعمل على توفير مأوى بسيط لكل عائلة منا حيث أننا قاسينا أقسى الظروف في هذا البرد القارص وما عانينا منه في خيام من الخشب والنايلون شديدة الحرارة نهاراً أشبه بالفرن وشديدة البرودة ليلاً أبرد من الثلاجة. في هذه الخيام نعيش في ظروف لا يمكنكم تخيلها حيث التلوث والمياه السيئة، ليس هناك أي شيء للطبخ أو لتسخين المياه غير البلاستيك وبعض المخلفات بعد نفاذ ما توفر من الخشب، هذه الظروف المأساوية جميعها تفتك بالأصحاء قبل المرضى.

أيضاً سنقوم بتوفير مصدر كهرباء باستخدام الطاقة الشمسية (تم تدمير جميع مصادر الكهرباء بشكل وحشي وتحتاج لسنوات لإعادتها للعمل ). هنا سأبدأ العمل من جديد ومحاولة بناء وترميم شبكة العملاء والبحث عن عملاء جدد سيشكل هذا دفعة كبيرة جداً لعائلتي حيث سأتمكن من توفير بعض الاحتياجات الأساسية من خلال عملي ان شاء الله

المراحل التالية تتضمن توفير ظروف معيشة أفضل ومساندتنا لنتمكن من العودة بشكل بسيط وجزئي لما كنا عليه.

أين سيذهب دعمك؟

5000$ تجهيز ثلاث مآوي كل مأوى عبارة عن غرفة وحمام وطبخ صغير.

1550$ شراء الاحتياجات الأساسية مثل (فرشات، أغطية، إلخ ) لثلاث عائلات بواقع عشر أفراد

1450$ دفعة لشراء نظام طاقة شمسية بشكل ابتدائي يكفينا للأساسيات.
