Ahmed Berry, beloved husband, father, brother, coach, and friend, was born on August 19, 1974, and left us prematurely on Monday, September 23, 2019.
Ahmed was a widely-respected member of the local soccer community. He shared his passion for the game with players throughout the area for a number of years, and he most recently coached with the Michigan Wolves-Hawks Soccer Club. He will be remembered for his positive outlook, for his caring nature, and always for his infectious smile. He loved to see kids develop on and off the field, and in his time as a coach, he made a difference in many young lives.
Ahmed was also a beloved member of the community at large. He always placed the needs of others ahead of his own and unselfishly shared his time and talents. His extended family, his work colleagues, and all who knew him will continue to speak of his love for others and will always remember him as a true friend.
Above all, Ahmed’s family was his life. He was a devoted husband to Caterina and a loving father to Michael, Joseph, and Gabriel.
