Ahmad's Fundraising for Family in Rafah

Hello everyone in Leeds, Bradford, London, and all over the world.

I'm Ahmad from Gaza. I've been living in UK ( Leeds and Bradford) for almost two years. When I first arrived, I was full of dreams. But then, everything changed when the war started. All I can think about now is when the war will end.

I am trying to raise funds for my people in urgency. We are all aware of the recent crisis Gazza has endured in recent days, homes have been flattened to the ground, innocent lives have been lost, families have been displaced, a further increase in food shortage, lack of medical supplies and generally there has been a decline in a basic human needs

The war destroyed my grandfather's house and my aunt's house was burned down by shell tanks. They were full of happy memories. We used to sit and spend time together there, but now it's gone.

Talking with my family now is very hard, and sometimes I can't talk with them for many days because no internet or electricity. Things they need like food, water, and electricity are hard to get and very expensive. and things at the store cost a lot more now and are expensive like flour which is £100 and sugar £20.

Through this campaign, I want to help my people and family to have food , clean water to drink and ectricity. And keep contact with them.

After we lost my grandfather's house, my whole family, about 60 people, had to live together in one house. It's tough. They don't have enough room, clean water, or even electricity. Imagine being sick in these conditions.

My uncle is an old man who has kidney failure, and he's in so much pain. He can't get kidney dialysis he needs to do it every day but he can't because it's hard to go to the hospital sometimes and we can't find clean water to drink. We need to evacuate him to Egypt urgently to get his treatment to cross the Egyptian border needs £5000 just to cross the border.

Evacuation fees are really expensive, especially now that I have no source of income.

Also, I'm trying my best to help my people, children and neighbours to have food at least one meal a day In the South of Gaza the people don't have food or clean water. I am clinging to the hope that kindness can still make a difference in this dark time.
