Sadaqa Jariyah for Ahamed Zeeshan Arafath رحمه الله

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu,

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Ahamed Zeeshan Arafath, at the age of 20. He was one of the diligent students of knowledge in Medina, actively engaged in calling to Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) throughout the world.

He was exceptionally active in spreading goodness across all Albaseerah.org platforms, from the YouTube channel to Instagram and other platforms. He served as a guide and inspiration for many students of knowledge, communities, and his family.

We are initiating this fund to support his family during this difficult time. As a student of knowledge studying at the Islamic University of Medina, he resided far from his parents in Calgary, Canada, who are planning to fly for his janazah (funeral prayer) and burial. This involves considerable expenses that require preparation.

Zeeshan was a gentle soul who touched many lives with his message and guidance. He was a beacon of reminders about worshipping Allah alone, studying His book, and the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet. Every conversation with him would uplift spirits and serve as a reminder of Allah, drawing one closer to Him.

I, Nasih Nazeem, am fundraising for my cousin Ahamed Zeeshan Arafath’s parents. Funds will be directly deposited to Shamsul Arafath Naleer (Zeeshan Arafath’s Father)

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to facilitate his parents' travel to Medina for the janazah and burial and allocate the remaining amount for Sadaqatul Jariyah (ongoing charity).

We intend to utilize the remaining funds to construct water wells, as indicated in the Hadith:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The best form of charity is giving water" (Abu Dawud).

The gift of water can revive communities through ongoing charity. Clean water promotes healthy livestock, people, education, agriculture, and sustainable livelihoods. By building a well in an underserved community, you earn rewards for all these benefits, in sha Allah.

He was well-respected by numerous scholars, including but not limited to:

- Shaykh Abdulrazzaq al Badr and his father (who announced his passing in his class at the Prophet's Mosque)

- Shaykh Salih as Suhaymi (Mufti of Medina)

- Shaykh Salih as Sindhi

- Shaykh Fahd al Fuhayd

- Shaykh Ali at Tuwayjiri

- Shaykh Hamd al Ateeq

He passed away on April 22 after an accident while walking to the Prophet's Mosque for Jumuah (Friday) prayer. Our eyes shed tears, and our hearts ache, but we submit to the will of Allah. To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return. May Allah shower His mercy and forgiveness upon him, grant patience to his family, and replace their loss with better, making it a means of forgiveness for them. May Allah accept all your donations and grant you all a beautiful death as He granted him.

In his final seconds before the accident our beloved brother Zeeshan shared something truly profound. He spoke about a beautiful teaching from Ibn Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him), describing how when a person enters paradise, they receive a heartfelt invitation directly from Allah. This invitation, lovingly penned by angels on behalf of the Most Merciful, is addressed personally to each individual, like "From Aziz ar Rahim To Fulan Ibn Fulan (Son of so and so)." Little did Zeeshan realize that he was unknowingly speaking about his own invitation, destined by the mercy of Allah إن شاء الله.

ببالغ الحزن نعلن وفاة أخونا الأعزاء أحمد زيشان عرفات في سن العشرين، والذي كان من طلاب العلم المجتهدين في المدينة المنورة، وكان نشيطًا جدًا في دعوة الله ورسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم في جميع أنحاء العالم.

كما كان نشيطًا جدًا في نشر الخير عبر جميع منصات موقع البصيرة (Albaseerah.org) من قناة اليوتيوب إلى إنستجرام وغيرها من المنصات. كان مرجعًا ومصدر إلهام للعديد من طلاب العلم والمجتمعات وأسرته.

زيشان كان نفسًا طيبًا أثر بحياة الكثيرين من خلال رسالته وتوجيهه. كان مغناطيسًا يجذب من حوله، يذكرنا بمعنى عبادة الله وحده، ودراسة كتابه وسيرة النبي. في كل محادثة معه، كان يرفع معنوياتك ويذكرك دائمًا بالله، ويقربك منه.

هبة الماء يمكن أن تعيد الحياة للمجتمعات من خلال الصدقة الجارية. الماء النقي يعزز صحة الماشية والبشر ويزيد من عدد الأطفال في المدارس ويحسن الزراعة والسبل المعيشية المستدامة. من خلال بناء بئر في مجتمع محروم، ستكون محورًا لكل هذه الفوائد، إن شاء الله.

توفي في 22 أبريل بعد حادث أثناء ذهابه إلى مسجد النبي لأداء صلاة الجمعة. عيوننا تذرف الدموع وقلوبنا محزونة، ولكننا نقبل بما يرضي الله. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون. نسأل الله أن يتغمده برحمته ومغفرته، ويمنح أهله الصبر، ويعوضهم خيرًا، ويجعل وفاته وسيلة لمغفرتهم. نسأل الله أن يقبل تبرعاتكم جميعًا ويمنحكم موتًا حسنًا كما منحه.

في لحظاته الأخيرة، شارك أخونا العزيز زيشان شيئًا مؤثرًا حقًا. تحدث عن فائدة جميلة من ابن القيم (رحمه الله)، يصف كيف يتلقى الإنسان دعوة مليئة بالمحبة مباشرة من الله عند دخوله الجنة. هذه الدعوة، التي تُكتب بحب من الملائكة نيابة عن الرحمن، موجهة شخصيًا إلى كل فرد، كـ"من العزيز الراحم إلى فلان ابن فلان". لم يكن في خياله أنه كان يتحدث عن دعوته الخاصة، بقدرة الله ورحمته الواسعة. نسال الله ان يتقبل منه

فإذا انتهى للجسر يوم الحشر يعـ***ـطى للدخول اذا كتاب ثان

عنوانه هذا الكتاب من عزيـ***ـز راحم لفلان ابن فلان

فدعوه يدخل جنة المأوى التي ار***تفعت ولكن القطوف دوان

هذا وقد كتب اسمه مذ كان في الـ***أرحام قبل ولادة الإنسان

بل قبل ذلك هو وقت القبضتيـ***ـن كلاهما للعدل والإحسان

سبحان ذي الجبروت والملكوت والـ*** إجلال والاكرام والسبحان

والله أكبر عالم الأسرار والـ***إعلان واللحظات بالأجفان

والحمد لله السميع لسائر الـ***أصوات من سر ومن إعلان

إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
