Don protégé
On February 23, 2018, Ann underwent an emergency craniotomy to remove a 7cm colloid cyst from her brain. The recovery has been more difficult and extensive than expected.
Ann had been in the ICU for 2+ weeks and was finally able to be moved to a rehab floor, where she will stay into April. When she's able to be released, she will need around-the-clock, in-home healthcare services.
Needless to say, this has affected the family greatly. The stress and anxiety felt by all close to her is immense. On top of that, there are enormous financial concerns.
Insurance will not cover every expense and the loss of income only exacerbates the problem. With the recent brain surgery, ICU stay, and impending rehab/home healthcare needs, the costs already total into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
As you all know, Pete and Ann are respected and admired by all who know them. Pete has impacted hundreds, if not thousands of kids, not only in Wisconsin, but throughout the Midwest. He has taught these kids important life skills, such as hard work, loyalty and discipline. He is a mentor, involved in the community, and willing to help anyone in need.
Ann is the most patient soccer spouse around. :) Please help them in their time of need--any amount, large or small, will be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your consideration. Please keep Ann, Pete, and the kids in your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Soccer Families
