Over 4 yrs ago Maurilio “Joe” Rivas became paraylzed after surgery complications. Since then he has unfortunately been battling several other illnesses as well. Through it all Joe has fought like a warrior but his body is now too weak to continue the fight. Joe has been known to be the life of the party by all of his Parker/Phoenix friends as well as an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
