Isaac Ramirez

Isaac was born May 4th, 2012 a healthy baby boy. At a little over 1 month old he started having "spasm" like seizures and was admitted to the hospital and 4 days later we got the devastating news that his brain had not fully developed and was surrounded by fluid. He was then diagnosed with epilepsy and Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. Our baby is now 2 yrs old and non ambulatory, non verbal and dr's are still unsure if he can see. Although he can't see us we know he can hear us and he knows how very much loved he is. He is the best thing that has happened to us and our family. We are greatful to have insurance, medical and California Children services but unfortunately very little is covered and everything that is sold for people with "special needs" is outrageously expensive. There is so much equipment and therapies out there that will help make Isaac's life easier and more enjoyable for him, unfortunately it's hard and nearly impossible for us to provide it all.
