Helping Hunter to walk tall
Donation protected
Hello friends. First I would like to thank you for taking the time to read our story. I was very apprehensive to do this, but here I am. Hunter needs your help. She has scoliosis that is at least a 24 degree S curve which is now putting her in a lot of pain. We have tried the "traditional" rigid Boston brace several times but with her Autism and sensory issues, this brace did not work for her. Now her curve is getting worse and this is a crutial time as she is growing and the faster she grows the more severe the curve will become. We are trying to get her a Spinecor brace that will be more compfortable and tolerable. Our insurance will not cover this type of brace so we need to come up with right at 6,000.00 to cover the costs of the doctor visits, fitting and the brace itself. Our ultimate goal is to avoid surgery in the future.
Thank you once again for your time.

Just so you know exactly what your donations are going to.
This is the Spinecor brace we are needing to get her. The straps from the waist down have been modfied and are now "bike shorts". She can do anything in this brace except swim and bathe so she will be able to move as freely as she always has, just with her body in the right postural postion.
