Medical Expenses

My niece, Althea, has been battling a serious infection. She had viral group A strep infection that turned into pneumonia. She also developed a bacterial infection in her lungs that quickly spread to her blood causing a blood infection. The pneumonia left her with an abscess in her lung that she continues to fight. She has been hospitalized for 30 days and has been airlifted twice to Children's in Denver. We thank everyone for their kind words, prayers, well wishes, and blessings; they have helped tremendously throughout this battle.

Althea has come a long way since her first sign of the illness but her road to recovery is not over. This summer, she will be rebuilding herself back to normal with the help of therapy.
