Saad Abid is Running for Afrobian Association's School Bus

Saad Abid, Moroccan public figure and athlete, is ready to suffer under the desert sun to Send More Children To School.

To achieve it, Saad will run the 38th edition of the hardest Marathon on earth in self-sufficiency, "The Marathon Des Sables", he will wear the bib number 16 starting the next 12th of April.

On 6 days he will battle to collect 40 dollars per kilometer.

His goal is to cross the final line after 250 kilometers of dedication and help the Afrobian Association to buy a new school bus.

I have founded in 2016 AFROBIAN Association a local charity operating in rural communities of Ait Mekhkouf, Tamaloukt, Tafraouten, and Imoulass in province of Taroudant.

Access to Education remains our torchbearer for the morrow :

We worked hard to reinstate our first school bus to its prime, fuelled by the petrol we furnish every day, our bus driver navigate the villages, wherever possible, safely ferrying 48 children to school 6 days a week.

Additionally, we're in the process of buying another vehicule to send more kids to school the next back to school period.
