The Hip Hop Association of Advancement and Education (HHAAE) and hiphoppas and Hip Hop advocates from all over the globe are asking for your help to assist our dear friends, Superiors Crew and AK13, as they are in need of funds to survive. They have escaped Afghanistan into a neighboring country and are now trying to find a means to survive with their families as they face a new challenge as refugees.
A group of talented musicians, rappers, bboys, and producers and all around artists made it into a neighboring country. These young men, along with their families, were in grave danger from the Taliban not only because they were artists but because they openly spoke out against the Taliban in their art. After a long journey from Kabul to a neighboring country, they are now forced to find a place to live while they work on leaving this country, as it isn’t safe for them there either.
The HHAAE and the global Hip Hop community is determined to raise the funds necessary for them to have a few months rent, food, and medical supplies (since some were hurt by police and robbers during their escape from Afghanistan). We and others are working to find them asylum and we need to assure that they can survive and have basic human needs while a cohort of concerned parties works to get them out of their current refugee situation. We cannot share too much information on their location or them individually for their safety as they are not in a safe place, though it is much safer than Kabul.
Please reach out to the HHAAE if you have questions or feel you need more information before you can donate. We will share more information privately. They need all the help they can get and we are here along with so many others inside and out of the Hip Hop community determined to get our brothers and their families into safety so they can continue to be the amazing artists they are who are not afraid to speak out against the atrocities of the Taliban.
Reach out if you feel you have resources or connections to get them out at:
