Our Mission
To develop a pharmaceutical grade machine for automating the production of personalized formulations (therapeutics, supplements, prescriptions, etc.) by leveraging patented technologies.  Doing so will enable mass production at substantially lower costs, making them more affordable and globally accessible.

Background
Our conventional one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare is failing.  More than half of Americans regularly take multiple prescription drugs (4 on average), often prescribed independently from multiple care providers without a drug-to-drug interaction review. This is particularly concerning as these potential interactions need to be carefully evaluated to avoid fatal reactions.  The loose practice of over-prescribing results in a vicious cycle of drug-cascading, which in 2014 cost an estimated $200 billion dollars in unnecessary medications and the deaths of about 124,000 Americans.  An improved approach to healthcare is absolutely necessary, now more than ever.

Generic Supplements vs. Compounding Pharmacies vs. Our Solution (NuCeutra)

Availability - Compounding pharmacies (pharmacies that make customized supplements manually) are still relatively new and are not available everywhere.  We aim to change that by automating mass production and empowering pharmacies and clinics to be able to expand their treatment options.

Affordability - Personalized supplements are compounded manually by pharmacists, which can be very expensive.  Automating this process allows us and other medical professionals to offer the same personalized solution at a fraction of the cost.

Eco-Friendly - Ingredients are sourced from sustainable suppliers and packaged in recyclable material.  Even the shipping material is recyclable.

Effective - Naturally derived patented molecular technology amplifies bioavailability and improves absorption and overall efficacy.

Personalized - Unlike generic supplements, this personalized solution is tailored to your exact needs.  The answers you provide in the health assessment will allow us to optimize the formula.  By subscribing to recurring orders, we can continue to modify the formula as your needs change over time.  We also encourage you to consult with your doctor for their feedback.  Their input will further improve your personalized formula.

Scalable - Vitamins and minerals are our primary concern for this initial launch.  However, we intend on expanding ingredient offerings to cover a much wider range of dietary needs.

Design and Validation
A functioning proof of concept for the System was recently the subject of a six-month long university cooperative research and development program with Portland State University. Through this program, the proof of concept sufficiently demonstrated feasibility, and we are now ready to take things to the next level - commercialization.

Upon successful integration of the System, multiple bioequivalence studies will be conducted with reference to conventional methods of compounding to validate the system as a viable alternative to pharmaceutical compounding.  Almost half of medication errors are the result of human-error on the side of the prescriber.  The system will be designed to mitigate all possibilities of human-error for safety and quality.

Other Applications for this System
 -  Combinational Therapies
 -  Dermatological
 -  Hormone Replacement
 -  Medical Foods
 -  Pain Management
 -  Psychiatric
 -  Research and Development
 -  Specialty Drugs
 -  Veterinarian

Use of Funds
100% of all donations and contributions go directly towards the research and development of the precision compounding system.  With this funding, we will not only be able to prototype the automated compounding machine but also initiate the distribution of personalized dietary supplements.  Be the first to gain access to personalized supplements by signing up here

Risks and challenges
The most anticipated challenge is the engineering of the patented molecular technology for compatibility with our System. The vast majority of active ingredients, whether pharmaceutical or dietary, are oil-based and often solid at room temperature. This complicates the automation process as the compounding device needs to cater to a virtually infinite possibility of ingredients. The proposed method of leveraging the patented technology has been well studied for those ingredients used in the personalized solution.

Other challenges may stem from the desire to achieve pharmaceutical-grade standards. Navigating through the various regulations may present unexpected obstacles. As a System intended for pharmaceutical applications, it is absolutely necessary to adhere to the highest standards for compliance. Integrating quality assurance into the development cycle, validating in phases, and implementing robust Standard Operating Procedures for quality control will be critical for the successful development of the System.
