Medical Bills

This page is made for my cousin Ashley. She is married to a fireman named Corey Southall and they have a precious baby boy named Lane. She is also only 21 years old. The beginning of this year she felt a knot that was growing rapidly on her neck. She mentioned it to her family as well as thought it was a good idea to tell her doctor. Her doctor said it was probably nothing but went ahead and ran some blood work, have a scan done and a ultrasound. Later, the results came back. With the family history of Thyroid cancer, he decided it was best to go ahead and do a total Thyroidedtomy. (All of this is out of pocket expenses, mind you.) When the pathology came back it was not the answer we wanted. There were 3 tumors on her Thyroid and all 3 were cancer. We began praying harder than ever. We do not know if there is remaining thyroid tissue in there or if it has spread to the lymph nodes. Ashley is currently having to have radioactive treatments to kill any remaining thyroid tissue even if it has spread. Ashley also has to have several more scans. She also can't be around her child or her husband and as all of you can imagine it is hard as ever. She has to remain away after the treatment. Ashley is also in nursing school, and is on a break for summer but is hoping to get back healthy in time to finish it out full time which she's worked so hard for. We know that we serve an awesome God and that he never fails us. 

 Saying all of that I have created this page to get donations to go towards her medical bills since she has no insurance. Anything is appreciated and I will continue to update everyone on how she is doing!
