The Matthews Family

Evan Matthews a hard working Dad of two, his wife Luana and 2 children,  Ethan and step daughter Lexie, have just had their lives turned completely upside down. 
Evan who is a diabetic, had a blister that got severely infected and quickly spread to his bones and blood. He went septic and was fighting for his life.  The only way for him to have a chance of surviving was to amputate his leg, just below his knee.


Evan will not be able to go back to work as a Bridge Inspector Supervisor, this is going to be a long time recovery for Evan. Luana will also need to be his carer during his recovery. This will mean that neither will be working. They are also going to need a bigger car for a wheel chair, modifications to their home, medical expenses, counselling for the whole family and the $$$$$ list will go on. Absolutely ANY amount of money you can donate will go directly to the family, and will be such a blessing. If money isn't something you can give atm, meals would also be a blessing. 


This is the start of a long road for this family, and they are going to have challenges none of us can imagine. With some community support, help and prayers I hope they will come through the other side, just a little bit better. Blessings Carmen.
