Stuffed Cones Ice Cream was established by LaToyia Dionne in 2017 located in Cleveland, OH. Prior to starting her ice cream business, LaToyia worked as a former Masters Prepared Licensed Hospice Social Worker for 12 years. She enjoyed providing grief counseling and support to hospice patients and families. During her work as a Hospice Social Worker she listened to many dying patients share their life experiences. It was during this time, she began to realize that life is short! She believed that as individuals we must use our gifts and talents to serve others. She also believed that it was time to transition her career. She fully understood how her skills and education were transferable to her new career as a business woman. LaToyia also wanted to create a legacy for her five girls while simultaneously making an impact in her community. So why ice cream? She believes that ice cream brings all cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds together. She remains a Social Worker at heart!

Over the past 5 years, our ice cream company has been a staple business in both the Slavic Village and Detroit- Shoreway neighborhoods located in Cleveland, Ohio. Since the beginning of its conception, our ice cream shop has been located in a brick and mortar location.

Although we have been successful with leasing, we believe that investing in real estate as a business owner is very important. I would like to own the real estate where my business is located. Building equity in my community allows me to have a long term interest in not only my community but also my business.

I have recently purchased a mixed used property that was utilized as an ice cream shop for over 60 years. Although this property has been closed for over 30 years, I am looking forward to reopening. I would like to bring nostalgia to this once community staple located in Slavic Village, Cleveland, OH.
