Pray for Page

Page was shot on April 18th 2014. The bullet went threw her teeth,tongue,back of throat, loging between the C1 and C2 vertebras. She had surgery to remove the bullet which was successful. With prayers that it heals as it should. She had a trake and feeding tube put in until she is healed. She spent 2.5 weeks in the ICU, 1 week on the childrens floor and 1 week in physical therapy. She has a 30-40 percent of stroke for the rest of her life because of damage to a main artery where there is still a bullet fragment left a ml from a main artery to the brain. She continues to make progress everyday but still has a road to recovery. She lives with her 2 sisters and mom. She has oral surgeries over the next year so she can get her beutiful smile back. She has continued apointments weekly for medical out of town. Mom has been by her side since day 1 and continues to do so until she is back to as normal as possible. She is 15 years old. She is definatly our walking miracle! This has put a financial burden on our family since mom has not been able to work so she can take care of Page and still has bills and a family to take care of.
