"Team Australia Speedway” needs your support to help send our Senior and Junior teams to compete in the Speedway World Cups in Europe this year.
The Australian Sports Commission, who previoulsy
funded Motorcycling Australia "international teams" in the past have unfortunately reduced funding in 2016.
This leaves our national Speedway (senior and U21's) teams with insufficient funds to compete this year.
In comparison to other Speedway nations, our programme is already significantly steamlined with many European teams having funding to support development, training and performance programmes. Team Australia run on vastly reduced budgets in comparisson and have achieved rostrum placings in SWC finals for 4 of the last 5 years. We are a three times World Team Champion and have huge ambitions to get back there - and that's where we need your help.
We dearly want to continue on the path to become World Team Champions again, sending our best riders to these competitions as well as being prepared to race to win.
