Help my Dad, Joe Froehlich.

Donation protected
On March 6, 2014 our lives changed forever. My dad, Joe Froehlich, was rushed to the ER because he had a brain bleed and a blood clot that almost killed him. After multiple procedures and brain surgeries he has been recovering slowly these past few months. He went from a breathing tube, to having a trach in his throat, to finally breathing on his own. At the same time he was fighting simply for the ability to move again. Now, after fighting through multiple setbacks including seizures and a bout with pneumonia, he's breathing on his own and is going through physical therapy everyday working towards the goal of hopefully one day walking again. He's finally ready to come home from the hospital however once he does, he will be trapped on the first floor. He cannot walk more than a few steps with assistance let alone any stairs and we cannot lift him up an entire flight of stairs ourselves. Without an electric stair glide, my father will be forced to sleep in our living room with no ability to even leave our home(we have stairs to get in the door) and most importantly to sleep in his own bed or even bathe(we have no shower on our first floor). All we want to do is give my father as normal of a home life as possible so he can be happy and focus on his recovery.
