Joan Stein: Saving an entire family
Donation protected
Creating this page comes with a heavy heart, as my mother, Joannie Stein has now spent over a month in the ICU after suffering a serious brain aneurysm. There is no telling how long she will be in the hospital under care, or when (if ever) she will ever be the same. She is responsive, but not all there.
If you know our story, you know it hasn't been an easy one. Living paycheck to paycheck not able to even pay rent or buy food isn't a way to live.
There are so many things our family needs. Joannie's medical bills that are going to be astronomical. Hannah's need for a new reliable car to safely make 100-150 mile a day journey to work and back. Aleah's need for a car now that she has graduated high school and starts her career. Our need for a place to call home. Education loan payments. Money to rent a dump truck to empty a now empty house. The list goes on and it seems so impossibly impossible.
Mom has struggled and relied on me, but I cannot do this alone. As the older daughter I have done my best to help my mother give the best support to my sister but my resources have also been exhausted.
This page is set up to help our family in any way that you can. Even if that means you just keep us in your thoughts or prayers or share this page to help us get the word out.
Please help my sister, mom, and I be able to push through this difficult time that has no definite end in sight. Please help me show my mom and family how much we all love her.
