"Pretty People Suck" at the MN Fringe

Donation protected
UPDATE: We did it! All donations from here on out will go towards the cost of having a videographer record the show. Thanks everyone for your help. Let's keep it going!

The first week of August, a new musical "Pretty People Suck! and Other Indisputable Facts About the Universe" will make its world debut at the Minnesota Fringe Festival. The musical tackles these themes and more, with words and music by BMI Musical Theater Workshop Alums Patrick Gallagher, Noah A Aronson and William TN Hall.

I (Patrick) am directing and producing this musical myself. No matter what, it's going up the first week of August. And now I'm asking you for your help.

Currently we have a budget $8,000.00 for this production and are aiming to crowdfund half that amount. Everyone involved in this production is being compensated, including all the actors, the stage manager, the music director, and the writers (other than Patrick). Your money would go towards the following:

Costumes
Props
Rehearsal Space
Technical elements for the show, including sound amplification and projections
Rehearsal time with the musicians
Miscellaneous expenses

If we manage to raise significantly more, all excess funds will go towards recording the show. If we reach that stretch goal, anyone who donates $100.00 or more will receive a digital copy of the album for free.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Patrick Gallagher via the contact button on this page. Also be sure to check back at this page for regular updates and more information.
