Wheelchair Van for Herrera Family

Thank you so much for visiting our page! We are the Herrera family from Aurora, Colorado. Our household consists 7 family members ranging in age from 5 to 59. We have 2 family members in wheelchairs, one of whom is 6….almost 7.
Troy was born with cerebral palsy and spends every day smiling from his chair. He is an awesome, smart, fun and strong willed boy who lights up a room when he rolls in! Troy and his siblings attend Vista PEAK Campus in Aurora Public Schools.
Our family is in need of reliable transportation that is wheelchair accessible with a lift. Because of the special needs of the family, we are currently unable to travel anywhere together due to the fact that we have 2 wheelchairs that go with us. We have a car that is on its last leg and as soon as that goes we will have no transportation at all.
We are looking for financial help to purchase a new van that will allow our family access to everyday life together. No amount is too small! Anything you can do to help….ESPECIALLY sharing our story….is appreciated! THANK YOU!
