Jenny Hill, is a 31 year old Utah mother, wife, sister, friend and preschool teacher. In April 2014, Jenny found a lump in her left breast and she immediately took action and pushed her doctor to give her a mammogram. They believed it was unnecessary after an ultrasound that led them to believe the mass was a sugar deposit and didn't show any signs of cancer. She felt very strongly that something more was wrong and after her mammogram, she pushed the specialist for a biopsy. When the biopsy results came back we were all told the one thing we hadn't expected. In May 2014, Jenny was diagnosed with Stage 3C Metastatic Melanoma cancer. She had surgery to remove 14 lymph nodes from her armpit where the tumor was found. Her long battle of Interferon treatments began June 16, 2014.
Fast-forward a year and treatments are complete but continued scans, medications and doctor visit costs pile on every month.
She has had such a strong support group to fight this battle. She has shown how strong and resilient she is and will continue to inspire all those around her and those who will only see her journey through social media. You can lend a hand by donating here.
