Ady Family Fundraiser

Donation protected
As some of you are already aware my 12-year-old niece Olivia Ady has been diagnosed with cancer, osteosarcoma. This all happened in the last month and we are still trying to get our heads wrapped around the scope and severity of the situation.

Brigette, Geoff, Isabella and Olivia have all relocated to Vancouver and are currently staying at the Ronald McDonald house and are regularly at the Children’s hospital. As of this moment they will be there 30+ weeks for chemo treatments and surgeries.

It is very hard for the family right now as they have had to uproot and leave their home in Trail, BC. They have had to take leaves from their jobs and still maintain their household while supporting Olivia in Vancouver.

Those of you that know that Brigette and Geoff know that they are fun, loving and very close with their twin daughter’s, family and friends. Olivia and Isabella are also very involved with rep soccer in the Trail Kootenay area.

Olivia is the wittiest, smartest, strongest little girl I know and is fighting hard to get through this long road.

So far Olivia’s school, friends and family have been starting to Fundraise for the family. Although I have been approached by others that are asking how they can donate to the family to help make their stay over the next year easier.

I thank you all in advance for any donations you are able to help the Ady family with!

Note from Brigette Ady:
“Olivia has now completed her first round of chemo. We have had ups and downs but overall she has done very well with minimal side effects. She truly is our hero in how stoic and brave she has been throughout this awful journey! Issy has also been amazing and resilient and truly is one of the kindest, most positive human beings we know and love as well!

The next steps for Liv will be long and hard fought. She will be having surgery at the end of May to remove the tumour and part of both her femur and tibia. Recovery will take quite some time given that she will be doing chemo treatments both before and after surgery. We know that she is strong and will get through this but we still need the love and support of all of our friends and family to help us through this! Thank you so much for being there for us, we love you all and can’t tell you how much we appreciate you!”
