You all know her as Amber Helsley, the girl with a smile as big as the sun and a heart of gold. This picture is with Tinley, her 15 year old. She is her mama’s pride and joy.
Amber needs our support. At 10 she was diagnosed with asthma. In 2015 she had Flu B which turned into pneumonia that left her on oxygen full time. Shortly after the pneumonia she was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. And in 2015 she was diagnosed with Heart Failure.
Amber has had multiple hospital stays-
2016- several weeks
2017- 67 days in hospital and several pulmonary procedures.
2018- already 63 days in the hospital
She has endured multiple trips to STL Barnes Jewish to visit her cardiologist and pulmonologist.
Amber has been on disability for several years making very little which doesn’t cover her bills: 25 medications, van, and medical bills. Things like new tires, AC and wipers for her shared van do not get the attention they need. Her mom, Teresa, misses a lot of work to take care of Amber and take her to doctors appointments.
I believe we are all here to help others. Let’s help lift the burden for Amber and her family so she can continue to get the necessary medical treatment in St Louis. Please join me in prayer and let’s wrap our arms around her. If you can please give to this precious family they would greatly appreciate it.
