Adventure Links

We are Adventure Links; a Northern Virginia-based, year-round Outdoor Education Center located at Hemlock Overlook Regional Park. We've been in operation for 23 years, and our site has been a beloved go-to for the community since the 80s. We currently have 13 members of our little family who live and work together in the woods of NoVa. Now, we're at risk of losing everything.

Due to COVID-19, our jobs and our workplace have been left vulnerable. We have just received news that we are unable to run our programming until May 31st. All schools in our area are shut down. Without the opportunity to bring in groups and change lives in our beautiful home, we are currently unable to bring in any revenue.  

If the virus continues through summer, our company's most valuable and valued time, we will likely be forced to shut down. In the meantime, staff who live and work in dedication to kids are now out of work, and are scrambling to find any other sources of income. 

We understand this is a desperate time for us all, and everyone is looking to hold onto their assets. We are trying to maintain our little home, care for our pseudo-family, and reopen for one-of-a-kind outdoor adventures. Any donation amount would be extremely appreciated.

We are extremely passionate about our field. We have staff members from Canada, South Africa, Saipan, and all over the continental United States who have chosen to use their love of the outdoors to inspire and empower the next generation.  

This money will be used to pay staff to continue to develop our programming and for maintenance on the property so we can be properly equipped for summer.
